This is actually my first post in a while, so info on the
posts coming up over the next few days might not be as clear as I’d like.
So the Slow Grow League is over. I did better than I thought
I would have with a 2-3 record. What I usually do here is then give reasons why
I shouldn’t have won (Nick had to remind me to use my combat action after I
thought my turn (and game) was over and Major Tom has only been playing
WarmaHordes for a short while), but that is not going to happen. Up until now,
just before the Slow Grow Tourney, I am on a 25% win ratio. This is far better
than my 8.93% win ratio for 2011.
I can now go into this one-dayer with a bit of confidence in
my gaming. I guess the questions now are; are Minions my perfect army? And can
I keep this up?
Firstly, probably not. Simply because Minions are too
limited at the moment and they would become boring after a while.
Secondly, again probably not. Simply because I totally crap
at remembering what can hurt me and how (fool me once, well done to you sir. Fool
me twice, I’m such a dipshit).
I’m going to stop here before I spiral into some kind of
self-hatred, self-blamey thing. But I tell you; statistically, I’m going to win
one game tomorrow.
