Painting for this month was slow. This is due to spending a
bit more time out of the house at weekends, (things like having to shop for new
computer parts, actually celebrating my birthday and seeing family). But I did
manage to finish up a fair amount of minis.
My quest to try and paint all of my Menoth before the end of
of October will now undoubtedly fail. There are two one day events coming up
that will take up a bit of time. The first is a WarmaHordes tier list only day
coming up in the first weekend.. Everyone will choose two casters/warlocks and
both lists have to be Tier two and above. As a result, I have hastily changed
my painting priorities and brought out some of my Skorne minis. The Void
Spirits, Feralgeist and Cyclopses will enable me to have a fully painted
Mordikaar Tier 4 list. I now want to paint a Catapult, Flayer Cannon and
Tyrant Vorkesh (the last two I've just gotten from bought) in readiness for
Saturday. There is no painting restriction on this event, but recently I've
made it a point to play with a fully painted force these days. The second one
dayer I will be using my Gators, all of which are fully painted so I don’t have
to rush anything.
Hopefully I can go back and paint up as much of my Menoth as
I can before I take a break from all aspects of gaming in November.

Priority for October, as mentioned above, is finishing Tyrant
Vorkesh and my artillery pieces. After that I will try and forge ahead with my
Menoth. I also bought myself a Sagorat heavy infantry to add to my Space monkey
force, so that will be sneaking itself onto my paint table.
